I do not have a credit card nor online bank account. Are there any alternative payment methods?
-
I paid via bank transfer. Then I clicked the ‘Confirm’ button yet nothing happened. What should I do?
There are many reasons why it happens. Most frequently, it is due to faulty Internet browsers. You are advised to hold on for a few minutes and then check whether you have received a payment confirmation email sent to the email address you have submitted at the time of payment. If you have received the payment confirmation email, it means that your money has been remitted to the seller.
-
I paid via bank transfer. After half an hour I still did not receive a payment confirmation email. What should I do?
In such a case you are advised to report the problem by calling the Dotpay Customer Service on +48 12 688 26 00, extension 2 or sending an email to bok@dotpay.pl. Please enclose to your message your transfer confirmation (preferably, in PDF format or optionally, you can use the ‘printscreen’ key or simply write down all details:
date, amount, Sender’s first and last name (company), Beneficiary’s account number, transfer details).
-
How can I be sure that an unauthorized person will not learn my payment card number?
Transaction data is sent through encrypted connections directly to the acquirer. It is thus impossible for any unauthorised person to access the data. Your data is not viewable by the Dotpay staff and the personnel of Internet service where you buy goods or services. The acquirer sends only confirmation that a declared payment can be effected. The Internet service receives such information via Dotpay.
-
Why do I have to wait a few hours for transaction to be confirmed when I pay with a card? When I pay with the same card in a store a transaction is confirmed on the spot.
Similarly to card payments at stores or restaurants, your card is authorised immediately in the case of online transactions. The Dotpay staff verify each transaction to ensure maximum security to you and your money. Unlike during ‘brick and mortar’ shopping, you cannot sign a receipt nor enter your PIN for online transactions.

What is the Dotpay Guarantee?
Use the Dotpay Guarantee service for e-shopping to be sure that you will receive the item bought or a refund when the seller defaults on an agreement.
How does it work?
You buy items for PLN 100 and pay for them to the seller, but you want to have a guarantee that you will not be cheated. You choose the ‘I buy Dotpay Guarantee' option which costs, for example, 8% of the price for the items you bought. In this case, the cost is PLN 8.
At the time of paying for the items ordered, you automatically pay for the Dotpay Guarantee – the total of PLN 108.
If the seller fails to supply the items ordered, you are entitled to lodge a complaint to the Dotpay service within 14 calendar days of payment.
Complaints can be submitted to: http://www.Dotpay.pl/gwarancja.
Next, Dotpay contacts the seller and requests confirmation of providing you with the items bought. If Dotpay does not receive from the seller any confirmation of successful transaction, your complaint will be accepted and you will obtain a refund.
